I was recently away for the weekend at a conference.
The weekend was packed full of thought-provoking speakers and entertainment, but on the Saturday afternoon we had some free time to do as we pleased.
So there was a choice to be made.
Should I go and partake in a little retail therapy around the local shops or as I was at the seaside, should I go and stroll down the pier and enjoy the view?
Having considered the options, I decided that the trip to the end of the pier was the right choice for me.
It was simple.
I decided that I might never get this opportunity to do it again and knew if I didn’t, I would probably be left with that “Why oh why didn’t I do that” feeling afterwards.
Life is short, so we had better make the most of it.
What do you think? Have you had any opportunities just like this?
