I look out of the window and it is raining hard.
The sort of rain where you get soaked to the skin within about a minute of being outside.
Today I had planned to go for a lovely long walk, but it will not be happening now as it is too wet.
I feel decidedly miffed that I won’t be able to do what I had planned.
Over a cup of coffee, I ponder that it really isn’t the end of the world that I cannot go walking today.
There will be other days when I can go out and about and I am suddenly grateful that this can be the case.
Come to think of it, I am also grateful that I am somewhere right now where I am warm and safe.
Such simple things.
We get so lost in life’s big picture that we often lose sight of the things that we can be grateful for.
I know I do.
Today I have found at least 2 things I can be grateful for, but there are definitely more things to be grateful for than just these.
What about family? Friends? Employment opportunities? Life experiences?
The list could be endless.
So what can you be grateful for?
With this in mind, today I have a little challenge for you:-
